How to fix '$MFTMirr does not match $MFT (record 0)'
Che fare quando montando un volume ottenete questo errore:
$MFTMirr does not match $MFT (record 0). Failed to mount '/dev/mia_partizione': Errore di I/O NTFS is either inconsistent, or you have hardware faults, or you have a SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows then reboot into Windows TWICE. The usage of the /f parameter is very important! If you have SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first you must activate it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g. /dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation for the details.
Dovete installare ntfsprogs:
sudo apt-get install ntfsprogs
Dare in pasto a nftsfix la partizione interessata:
sudo ntfsfix /dev/mia_partizione
Montare la partizione tramite gui o da terminale:
sudo mount /dev/mia_partizione /media/hd_esterno/ -t ntfs-3g -o force
L'errore può essere causato da una non corretta rimozione di una pendrive o di un hard disk esterno su windows oppure come nel mio caso dovuto all'inserimento del cavo ide nell'hard disk con il computer alimentato (ovvero spento ma con la presa attaccata).
